George Apostol
George has over 35 years of experience designing system-on-chip (SoC), hardware, software, and systems. He holds several patents for interconnect and interface design and has led technology organizations developing products for several markets. He has held leadership and executive roles at Xerox/PARC, Sun, SGI, LSI Logic, Exar, and Samsung as well as start-ups including TiVo, BRECIS, Audience and BAYIS. As VP of Engineering and CTO at PLX Technology, George drove the development of PCI Express switches, which are broadly used in the market today. He received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Maureen Maguire
As Senior Climate Analytics Consultant within Ortec Finance’s Climate & ESG Solutions, Maureen is primarily responsible for integrating its investment decision-making technology for US-based financial institutions and providing ongoing support on how its analytics can help them measure, manage and monitor their climate strategy.
Maureen has over three decades of experience across ESG, climate analytics, scenario analysis and economic and sector forecasting within various research and consultancy roles. She joins Ortec Finance from The Climate Service and was previously IHSMarkit’s Global Head of Financial Stress Testing, where she worked with large financial institutions on their financial stress test requirements and incorporated macro analysis into climate stress testing and ESG.
Maureen holds a Bachelor and Master of Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts, USA.

Lindsay McCorkle
Lindsay is a Director at Blue Horizon, a fund focused on sustainable food systems. She is responsible for North American deals across the food and ag sectors, ranging from seed to pre-IPO. Prior to Blue Horizon, she worked at Rabobank where she developed early stage agrifoodtech coverage for the research and investing teams. Previously, Lindsay worked in private equity at MacAndrews & Forbes and as an M&A banker at Moelis & Company. She has worked as competitive pastry chef for the last 15 years.
